Yes! Dr. Lisa Dieker (U of Central Florida) is coming to Saskatchewan with her FULL-DAY workshop on Co-teaching with a second day on practical strategies to include ALL students in your classroom! 

Dr. Dieker is an international expert in the co-teaching model,  with a passion for technology, middle-years and secondary students, and the content areas of science and math.

 

Day 2 - Dr. Dieker's sessions will be:
Mission Possible: Inclusive Practices for 21st Century Learning

This session will provide participants with an array of technological applications for teacher preparation and student learning outcomes.  The session will highlight tools across content areas and include web-based tools, assistive technology, Web 2.0, virtual and mixed reality environments.  The intended outcome will be for teachers and teacher educators to understand how these tools can be incorporated into teacher preparation and the potential impact of these tools on student learning and future employment across disabilities and content areas. 

Demystifying Middle Year and Secondary Inclusion: 7 Strategies

This session will focus on practical classroom applications to support students with disabilities in middle year and secondary general education settings.

"Hot Topics!" Professional Learning Sessions

Need information, ideas and/or suggestions how to support ALL students in your classroom? Come to "Hot Topics!" 3rd Wednesday each month. 
Hot Topics! are suggestions from teachers and professional support staff.  Sessions are held the 3rd Wednesday of the month (6:30 - 8:30 pm) at the STF Building (Arlington Avenue and Louise Street, Saskatoon). 

CEC Members - FREE! Non-members: $10 pre-registration, $15 on-site (pay on-site).
